Seedream 5.0 Pro prompt guide

Seedream 5.0 Pro is ByteDance’s image model for rich colour and strong composition. It does best when the prompt says where things go, not only the mood: describe the scene, then the layout, the style and what must stay.

What Seedream 5.0 Pro takes

The order to write a prompt in

  1. The scene: the subject, the setting and the moment.
  2. The layout: where each element sits, such as the product in the left third and empty space on the right for text.
  3. The style: photo, illustration or 3D; the light; the colour palette.
  4. The limits: for an edit, what must stay unchanged.

Example prompts

Banner layout
A wide banner for a summer sale of sunglasses. A pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses on hot sand in the left third, with a soft shadow. The right two thirds are a clean gradient from turquoise to pale yellow, left empty for text. Bright midday light, crisp commercial photo.
Illustration
A cosy reading nook in a treehouse at dusk, a girl with a lantern reading a book, fireflies outside the round window. Warm orange and deep teal palette, soft painterly illustration, storybook style.
Combining images
The woman from the first image wearing the dress from the second image, standing on a balcony over a Mediterranean harbour. Golden-hour light, fashion editorial photo, 50 mm lens.
