Terms of Service

1. The service

RenderHour lets you make images, video and audio with AI models run by third parties, through its generators, studios, effects, agent, public API and MCP server. The models, their availability and their output are provided by those third parties and may change.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account, and one RenderHour account belongs to one email address. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for everything done with your account, its API keys and the applications you connect to it.

3. Credits

Generations are paid for with credits. The price of every generation is shown before you run it, and that is the amount taken. If a generation fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.

Credits that come with a plan are valid until the end of the billing period they were granted for. A new account without a paid plan gets 10 free credits once, valid for 30 days and only on the models the free plan lists. The 3-day free trial needs a payment card: it gives 50 credits on every model, and when it ends the Lite plan starts and your card is charged $10 a month, plus any tax, unless you cancel before the trial ends; you can cancel on your account page at any time. Credits bought in a pack are valid for 90 days. If you turn on extra usage on your account page, you authorise us, through our payment partner, to charge the card you last paid with for the credit pack you chose each time a request needs more credits than you have, until the packs bought that calendar month reach the monthly limit you set; a declined charge turns extra usage off, and you can turn it off at any time. Money added to the API balance is valid for 365 days and is kept separate from credits. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Orders are processed by our payment partner, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every order: it charges you, collects any sales tax or VAT, appears on your card statement and makes refunds.

Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout where they apply. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel it. A first-month price, where one is shown, applies once per account; renewals are charged the full price. You can cancel at any time from your account; the plan and its credits stay until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use RenderHour to make or share sexual content of any kind; deepfakes or face swaps; content that uses a real person’s face, body or voice without their permission or impersonates anyone; content that infringes someone else’s rights; illegal content; or content that harasses, threatens or promotes violence. You may not attempt to get around the service’s limits, prices or safety checks, or to disrupt it. The full rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy at renderhour.com/acceptable-use.

Every prompt and uploaded image is checked automatically before anything is made, and the model providers run their own safety filters. We, and the model providers, may refuse a request, remove content and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. A refused request is not charged.

6. Your content

You keep whatever rights you have in what you upload and in what you make, to the extent the law and the model providers’ terms allow. You give us the permission needed to store and process it in order to run the service for you. We do not use your uploads or results to train AI models. Results may resemble results made by others.

Results of paid accounts are kept until you delete them; results of free accounts are kept for 30 days. You can delete any file from Assets at any time.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or that any particular model will stay available. We may change, add or remove features, models and prices; a change of price never applies to a generation already shown and accepted.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service and its results are provided “as is”. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected, and you are responsible for how you use it. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using RenderHour at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Sections 6 and 8 continue to apply after an account is closed.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
