Quick start

Send the key as a bearer token. Every request that starts a job needs an Idempotency-Key: repeating it returns the same job and never charges twice. The full description is in openapi.json.

curl https://renderhour.com/v1/generations \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer rh_…" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"model":"seedance-2.5","config":{"resolution":"480p"},"prompt":"a red fox in the snow"}'

curl https://renderhour.com/v1/generations/JOB_ID -H "Authorization: Bearer rh_…"

Pass webhook_url to be told when a job finishes. The request is signed in the RenderHour-Signature header as t=…,v1=…, where v1 is the HMAC-SHA256 of t.body with the webhook secret of the key. A delivery that is not answered with a 2xx status is retried after 30 s, 2 min, 10 min, 30 min, 2 h.
