AI image expander

Pick the shape you need and the model extends your picture to fill it, painting in new background, sky or floor that matches the light and perspective of the original. The original pixels stay where they are, so nothing is cropped: a portrait becomes a wide banner, or a landscape a vertical story.

How to do it

  1. Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP, or pick an image from your Assets.
  2. Choose the shape of the result, for example 16:9 or 9:16. Auto keeps the shape of your picture and adds room on every side.
  3. Press Generate and download the wider picture; it is also saved to your Assets.

  • A vertical photo made wide for YouTube or a website
  • A wide shot made tall for Stories and Reels
  • Room around a product for text in an ad
  • Uncropping a photo that was framed too tight

Tip

Pictures with a simple, continuous background, such as sky, sand or a wall, expand most convincingly.

How much does Expand Image cost?
2 credits per image. Plans start at $10 a month for 250 credits.
Can I use it for free?
Yes. The free plan gives 20 credits a month, enough for 10 runs of Expand Image. No card is needed.
Is the original changed?
No. Your picture is placed in the middle of the new frame at its own size, and only the new area around it is painted.
Which shapes can I choose?
Auto, 1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 4:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:4, 9:16, 16:9 and 21:9. If your picture already has the chosen shape, it gets room on every side instead.
Do I need to write a prompt?
No. The model reads the picture and continues it. The price is the same for every shape.
What if a run fails?
A failed run costs nothing: the credits held for it come back to your balance straight away.
Are my results private?
Yes. Your uploads and results are kept in your own Assets and carry no watermark. On the free plan results are kept for 30 days; on a paid plan they stay until you delete them.
